Feeling: I really don't like buying stuff from people who don't know what they are selling.

Theory: Things become crappier, unrepairable and more evil when the people who sell them no longer understand them.

Example: Computers. In the good old days (and before I ever used a computer), staff in computer shops actually knew how they work. Nowadays, try asking an employee of any store what the Intel ME is and does.

Other examples: Cars, Bicycles (especially e-bikes), and of course nobody knows knows how a smartphone works.

Vor ein paar Jahren war Vegetarismus plötzlich - toleriert. Als Tiere noch gequält wurden und der Tod eine Erlösung für sie war. Doch heutzutage gibt es im Supermarkt nur noch Bio-Fleisch von fair gehandelten Tieren aus der Region, von denen man weiß, wo sie geboren wurden und wie Mama und Papa hießen und wo ihre Lieblingsweide lag, weil das auf der Fleischpackung mit draufgedruckt ist, mit Foto: 400 g von Betsy (1999-2018), aufgezogen und gepflegt von Bauer Hansen, im hohen Alter von veganen Montessori-Vorschulkindern liebevoll totgestreichelt, CO2-neutral vom Bio-Bauernhof aus der Region ehrenamtlich mit dem Fahrrad hertransportiert, halal und koscher. Fleischessen darf wieder Spaß machen.
